, the highly anticipated Hulu series Pam & Tommy got a new trailer – and once again surprised viewers with the striking resemblance of actors Sebastian Stan and Lily James to Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson .
Scheduled to premiere on February 2nd, the eight-episode series revolves around the relationship between the Mötley Crüe Baywatch star , more specifically after the leak of an intimate sex tape of the couple.
In July, several videos of Sebastian Stan playing drums dressed as Tommy Lee were released online, once again provoking comments about the characterization. In a recent interview , Stan commented on the challenging process of transforming the two actors into the two 90s stars and praised the work of the "best hair and makeup team" for the impeccable production.
“They deserve all the awards they win. We couldn’t have done this without them,” the actor said. “I think it took me two hours to get ready almost every morning, and Lily took three.”
Sebastian further added that the crew worked about 12 hours a day and that at the end of filming he was surprised not to know what Lily James really looked like.
“It’s really weird with Lily because the first time I saw her as herself was at the end of filming, five months later,” she says. “And my reaction was to ask, ‘Who are you?’ That’s when we formally met.”
