The band had to postpone shows in South America
The Swedish progressive metal band, Pain Of Salvation, released a statement on their Facebook page regarding their South American tour, which was scheduled to begin on Thursday, February 1st.
"We have important news to share about the upcoming shows in South America. Unfortunately, they will need to be rescheduled for April/May. We already have the new dates:"
April 26th - Rio de Janeiro - Teatro Rival;
April 27th - Belo Horizonte - Granfinos;
April 28th - Limeira - Bar da Montanha
; April 29th - São Paulo - Clube Carioca;
May 1st - Buenos Aires - Roxy Live
; May 3rd - Santiago - Blondie
The reason for the change is that (the vocalist) Daniel Gildenlöw caught a bad case of the flu 11 days ago. We were hoping he would get better, but unfortunately that didn't happen.”
Tickets that have already been purchased remain valid for the new dates.
Pain Of Salvation is promoting their latest studio album, In The Passing Light Of Day , which features lyrics inspired by the four months the vocalist spent in the hospital due to a back infection, Necrotizing Fasciitis, a flesh-eating bacteria.
