Ozzy wanted Tommy Clufetos on drums.

Ozzy says Brad Wilk wasn't the first choice.

In an interview with Spin magazine, Ozzy Osbourne explained that Tommy Clufetos was the first choice to play drums on the album "13," since there was no agreement for Bill Ward to complete the original lineup. The vocalist says the matter was not handled professionally.

“We had Tommy (Clufetos) waiting. And it just didn’t work out. It was handled the wrong way because you can’t leave people waiting like that for nothing.” Ozzy explains that producer Rick Rubin was against the choice of Clufetos but didn’t clarify what really happened: “It ended up being unprofessional and I’m angry about that.”

Ozzy added that Clufetos, who is currently touring with Black Sabbath, has been doing a great job at the shows.
