Ozzy recalls collaborations
In an interview with an English radio station, Ozzy Osbourne spoke about Lemmy's death and the collaborations the musicians did together. See his statement:
"All my drinking buddies are dead. Lemmy passed away last year too. It's a shame, he was a great friend of mine."
Apparently, I heard he went to the doctor to stop what he was using. And the doctors said, 'Just keep being the way you are.' And he was using methamphetamine, all that stuff. And a bottle of liquor.
You know, Lemmy was a character. We need people like that.
He wrote a lot of my lyrics. I was making one of my albums and I went to his house and said, 'Could you write some lyrics?'
He said, 'Yeah, come back in a few hours.' And I came back and he said, 'Did you like it?' I read it and he gave me five different lyrics, all amazing.
And he wrote 'Mama I'm Coming Home', 'See You on the Other Side', 'Hellraiser,' a whole bunch of stuff!
Everyone underestimated him. He was a very studious and very intelligent guy. I miss him all the time.
