Ozzy talks about the breakup of Black Sabbath.
In an interview with an American radio station, Ozzy Osbourne spoke about the fights and the breakup of Black Sabbath during the recording of the album Black Sabbath Vol. 4.
Ozzy says that, in the beginning, everyone had the same purpose, but fame changed that. The vocalist acknowledges that success was detrimental to the harmony among the members.
"I was using too much cocaine, which makes people say the most outrageous things." Ozzy also said that at the time one of the biggest obstacles was that the band was seeking a solution to their problems through cocaine use.
The year 2012 marks the 40th anniversary of the album Black Sabbath Vol. 4.
