Ozzy posts statement on Facebook
Vocalist Ozzy Osbourne posted a rant on his Facebook page criticizing a report published on Radar Online, which alleges that his separation from Sharon Osbourne is a marketing ploy. The articles cite Stephen Machat, described as a "former manager" of the musician, as their source.
In the report, Machat says, “I’d bet this is a publicity stunt. They’re doing a Black Sabbath tour. She could do this in a minute. It’s publicity!”

Ozzy responded to the accusations on Facebook: “In response to some stories with comments from Steven Machat… To be clear, Machat was NEVER my manager and was never employed by me in any sense at any point in my career. His portrayal is a categorical lie. I knew him in the music industry in the 80s but haven’t seen him in 30 years. He is a sad and delusional relic of the 80s.”
Sharon and Ozzy have been living separately since the beginning of May.
