Ozzy Osbourne will undergo "very important" surgery next Monday, the 13th, which is expected to "determine the rest of his life," according to his wife Sharon Osbourne.

During The Talk , Sharon's talk show, she told her colleagues that she would be flying to Los Angeles next weekend to be with her husband for the operation. Additionally, Sharon revealed that her son Jack will have another child in three weeks and that she and Ozzy will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on the 1st of next month.

“[Ozzy] has a very important operation on Monday, and I need to be there,” she stated. “This will really determine the rest of his life.” In May of this year, the Prince of Darkness revealed that he was hoping to have neck surgery because “I can’t walk properly these days.” It is unknown if the surgery mentioned by Sharon Osbourne is the same neck surgery.

Despite his health complications, Ozzy remains active. He recently said he was finalizing his new album, the successor to Ordinary Man (2020). Work has been ongoing since at least December, when producer Andrew Watt said the album was nearly finished.

In addition to Watt, the album will feature Tony Iommi on guitar, Robert Trujillo of Metallica on bass, Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers , and Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters on drums. Hawkins sadly passed away in March of this year during a tour of South America.
