Ozzy Osbourne , the legendary frontman of Black Sabbath , revealed in an interview published in late March by Rolling Stone that he would like to return to the stage, however, he feels limited by his health problems, which led the vocalist to retire in early 2023.
"I would love to, but I can't stand up straight. Maybe I'll do something someday. I miss it so much," she said.
In early 2019, Ozzy Osbourne slipped and fell in the middle of the night, aggravating a spinal injury he suffered in 2003 when he was involved in a near-fatal ATV accident.
Later that same year, the musician was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, a progressive nervous system disorder that causes the gradual loss of nerve cells in the brain and has no known cure.
When asked if he would give a short performance if he were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame , he said, "Maybe. We'll see."
Osbourne was inducted into the prestigious Hall in 2006 as a member of Black Sabbath. This time, the singer was nominated for his solo career.
“This is driving me crazy. It’s an honor that I’ve been nominated, but I’m not expecting to get in. There’s Mariah Carey , Cher , Lenny Kravitz . I’m competing with heavyweights. If I get in, I get in. If I don’t get in, I don’t get in,” he told Rolling Stone .
