Ozzy Osbourne will be honored this Sunday, August 7th, during the 2025 MTV VMAs (Video Music Awards) . The event will take place at the UBS Center in New York City, United States. The legendary Black Sabbath died on July 22nd of this year, at the age of 76.
To celebrate the legacy of the Prince of Darkness, there will be musical performances by Yungblud Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt , and the iconic Steven Tyler and Joe Perry , respectively vocalist and guitarist of Aerosmith . [ via Blabbermouth ]
In addition to those mentioned, the event will also feature performances by Lady Gaga , Alex Warren, J Balvin, DJ Snake, Sabrina Carpenter, Sombr, Conan Gray, Doja Cat, Jelly Roll, Post Malone, and Tate McRae . The event will be hosted by rapper LL Cool J , a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame .
