The wife of the Black Sabbath frontman said the test didn't work
What do you do when your city is hit by a heat wave of almost 40ºC? Well, Ozzy Osbourne , in a moment of desperation, tested an idea that wasn't very well received by his wife, Sharon .
According to her, the Prince of Darkness tried to cool down with almost 1,500 kilos of ice, but it didn't work. "When Ozzy got into the pool, the heater wasn't on, but the water was boiling and the weather in general was very hot. Then he said, 'I can't stand this, I need cold water.' So he had the idea to buy ice," she recounted on the show The Talk .
The musician bought £3,000 worth of ice and asked for it all to be put in the pool. “It did nothing! The temperature dropped about three degrees and Ozzy said, 'Okay, we need more ice,' and then I said, 'No, that won't work!'”
