Ozzy Osbourne reveals new treatments to regain mobility: "New adventure"

On The Osbournes podcast, the musician gave an update on his next steps regarding his health

Ozzy Osbourne continues with medical treatments following a series of surgeries in recent years. In the latest episode of The Osbournes podcast , the Prince of Darkness revealed that he has started practicing a martial art to help regain mobility, balance, and motor coordination.

Diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and battling it since 2003, the musician recently reached the milestone of seven surgical procedures in a four-year period. Now, he is in the recovery phase with treatments such as physiotherapy, yoga practice, and even the martial art Tai Chi Chuan.

According to Unimed , the benefits of this practice include improved balance, strengthening of body muscles, reduction of muscle tension, and improved concentration. Regarding the treatments, Ozzy Osbourne showed himself open to trying new methods. "[Tai Chi] is good for balance, it's a new adventure. I want to go back, so all options are open to me," he said (via Blabbermouth ).

At 74 years old and away from the stage due to health issues, the British musician continues with plans to return to recording new albums and performing live. In an interview with Metal Hammer , Ozzy said he intends to record a new album in 2024 (learn more here ).
