Ozzy Osbourne talks about Black Sabbath's last show: "I didn't expect to get emotional"

The musician also reaffirmed that he will not retire

In 2017, Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler reunited for the last time to perform in their hometown of Birmingham, England. The show took place on February 4th and was immortalized with the release of the DVD "The End" in November of the same year.

Now, Ozzy recalled the moment during an interview with SiriusXM, revealing that it was emotional: “I didn’t expect to get emotional, but I did. I’ve been with them for ten years. I’ve been solo for 40 and I’ve played with incredible people throughout my career.”

The musician took the opportunity to reaffirm that his farewell tour is not a sign of retirement: "I will still do shows, I just won't be touring anymore ," he says. His tour will pass through Brazil in May with four shows: São Paulo (May 13), Curitiba (May 16), Belo Horizonte (May 18) and Rio de Janeiro (May 20).
