Ozzy Osbourne spent the pandemic "shooting at targets," says Andrew Watts

The producer said that seeing Ozzy holding his BB guns is "terrifying."

In a recent interview with radio station 95.5 KLOS , producer Andrew Watt , responsible for the album Ordinary Man Ozzy Osbourne 's upcoming album was asked about his favorite story with the musician. Despite saying he felt some of them "can't be told live," Watt recalled a particularly characteristic episode.

The producer recalled a time when he visited Ozzy at his house while they were working on his new album and detailed a moment when the musician was "drawing something and using a lot of red." Osbourne, whom Watts described as "a great painter and draftsman," suddenly stood up, walked outside the house, and hung the piece of paper on a tree.

“Then he said to me, ‘Okay, sit here,’ and came back holding two BB guns. Ozzy holding two guns – I mean, anyone holding two guns – but Ozzy holding two BB guns is something scary. And the dogs were all in the yard and he said, ‘Okay, let’s shoot.’ And I said, ‘Hold on. Hold on. We need to restrain the dogs,’” Andrew recounts.

“Me and one of the people who worked there took the dogs and brought them inside, and he [Ozzy] was shooting at targets during the pandemic – he didn’t miss a single target. Think what you want, he gets ready to shoot and boom, the perfect shot. He hit every circle, all of them. He’s an amazing guy,” he concluded.

Recently, Ozzy Osbourne revealed that his new album will feature appearances by Zakk Wylde , Tony Iommi , Jeff Beck , and Eric Clapton , who was initially somewhat reluctant to participate in a song that mentioned Jesus.
