In an interview with WSFL 106.5 , to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Blizzard of Ozz , Ozzy Osbourne commented on his personal life and his relationship with Tony Iommi , his Black Sabbath bandmate .
In the conversation (via Blabbermouth ), the Prince of Darkness said that the band members “are never far from my thoughts, whether I like them today or not.” Osbourne reflected on how, in recent years, he has had many health problems and Iommi has always been by his side. He said he is “closer to him in the last 18 months than ever before.”
“We never got along for years. But everything he did before and everything I did before… it’s so important that, when you’re lying down, someone cares enough to think about you. That’s all you need – a phone call or a text message. It means the world.”.
