Ozzy Osbourne 's new single , "Gods Of Rock N Roll," has already reached the charts even before its release.
The track has already reached Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplatform, while the official release is February 14th. The work is a new version of Billy Morrison which was part of the 2015 album God Shaped Hole , and features Ozzy as co-writer and vocalist.
Now, the project has been given a new look, with Morrison bringing in guitarist Steve Stevens and a more orchestral sound.
The reason the song reached the charts was because Morrison delivered the new version to SiriusXM 's Ozzy's Boneyard last month. Since then, the song has been played on various radio stations, opening up the 26th spot on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.
“Gods Of Rock N Roll (Orchestral)” is scheduled to be part of the upcoming deluxe edition of Billy Morrison’s 2024 album, The Morrison Project , and will be released as a single on Friday the 14th.
This track wasn't the only time the Prince of Darkness teamed up with Morrison, as the two also worked together alongside Steve Stevens on a song called "Crack Cocaine" —which appeared on the original version of The Morrison Project .
Black Sabbath's farewell
Osbourne's single arrives just days after he announced details of Black Sabbath's final live show , which will take place in Birmingham on July 5th.
The event in their hometown will include a series of star-studded opening acts and special guests, including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Lamb Of God, Mastodon, Alice In Chains, Halestorm , recent Grammy winners Gojira , and many more.

Sharon Osbourne , Ozzy's wife and manager, spoke during an interview with The Sun about the musician's state of health.
Living with Parkinson's disease since 2019, the musician is having difficulty getting around, but, according to her, his voice is ready to return to the stage.
“Parkinson’s is a progressive disease. It’s not something you can stabilize. It affects different parts of the body and now it’s affecting his legs. But his voice is as good as it’s ever been.”
During an interview with Sirius XM , Ozzy commented on Black Sabbath's farewell: "I've made it to 2025. I can't walk, but you know what I was thinking at Christmas? As much as I complain, I'm still alive."
"I may be lamenting the fact that I can no longer walk, but I look back and see that there are people who haven't done even half the things I've done and haven't survived."
