Ozzy Osbourne , heavy metal icon and vocalist for Black Sabbath , died on Tuesday, July 22, at the age of 76. The cause of death was not disclosed, although Osbourne had faced several health problems in recent years.
At the time, aged 69, the Prince of Darkness toured the world for the last time with his farewell shows. For the tour, Ozzy recruited musicians Zakk Wylde, Blasko, Tommy Clufetos , and Adam Wakeman .
His last visit to Brazil was in May 2018 with the No More Tours 2. The singer performed in São Paulo, Curitiba, Belo Horizonte and, finally, in Rio de Janeiro, on May 28th, at the Jeunesse Arena.
Although a little weak, Ozzy was in shape and delivered what everyone expected at his shows: playful antics, with Ozzy throwing buckets of water at fans, pulling down his pants for the audience, and the greatest hits from his solo career and with Black Sabbath.
The former Black Sabbath vocalist has been to Brazil five other times, in the years 1985, 1995, 2008, 2011 and 2015.
