The fire occurred early this morning
Firefighters were called to the Osbournes' home early this morning to put out a fire caused by a candle Sharon had left burning overnight.
During the CBS program “The Talk,” Sharon recounted that she noticed the fire when the dog started barking. Ozzy, who had his arm in a cast due to hand surgery, tried to fan the flames to put out the fire, without success. According to Sharon, Ozzy's attempt caused his hand to bleed and worsened its condition.
Sharon said that the front part of Ozzy's hair and his eyebrows had disappeared, and that his cheeks were slightly burned. His wife vowed not to leave any more candles burning.
After the firefighters extinguished the fire, they insisted that no more candles be lit during the night. According to Sharon, Ozzy asked the firefighters to instruct her properly: "She's been doing this for 32 years!".
