This Friday, the 10th, Ozzy Osbourne released the song "Ordinary Man," a collaboration with Elton John . The song is the title track of the singer's new album, which will be released soon.
Chad Smith , drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, worked alongside the Prince of Darkness on the album Ordinary Man and revealed details of the new song in an interview with the American radio station SiriusXM:
“Ozzy Osbourne is a huge Beatles fan. He really likes melody, he loves the Beatles, he can talk about the band for hours. He wanted a more relaxed song, not so heavy. Then Andrew Watt [producer] had this idea for a piano in the song, and you know, it's epic. And Slash recorded the guitar solo. The song is so epic that it has two guitar solos by Slash!”
In addition to Slash, "Ordinary Man" features Chad on drums, Duff McKagan on bass, Andrew Watt on rhythm guitar, and Elton John on piano and vocals alongside Ozzy Osbourne. The lyrics were also a collaboration between Chad, McKagan, Billy Walsh , and Andrew Wotman .
