Ozzy Osbourne has tested positive for COVID-19 . The worrying news was confirmed by Sharon Osbourne , the singer's wife and manager, this Thursday, the 28th.
In the video excerpt, published by the British program The Talk , she appears crying with concern for Ozzy's health. "He was just diagnosed, it was in the middle of the night in our time zone. I spoke to him, he's fine," she said. "I'm very worried about Ozzy right now, we went two years without him getting COVID, it's his bad luck to get it now."
With the news, Sharon announced that she will travel back to Los Angeles to be by her husband's side, "hug and kiss him while wearing about three masks." The presenter had just returned to the show three days ago, but intends to focus on her husband's recovery for the moment. "My family is my life, (...) I know I'll be back. I'll need a week to get my old man back on his feet, so I'll be back in a week," she assured. "I know my husband, we'll get him back on his feet and he'll get a negative test next week."
Before the COVID diagnosis, Sharon had shared that Ozzy Osbourne only needs one more surgery related to the accident he suffered in 2019, when the Madman revealed he suffers from Parkinson's disease. "He's doing well. He has one more operation to do and he's dying to go home," she told Piers Morgan (via LouderSound).
Currently, Ozzy is still in Los Angeles, but intends to move permanently to the United Kingdom after the operation. The Osbourne family has filed an application to build a rehabilitation clinic at the couple's mansion in Buckinghamshire, with the aim of assisting in the artist's treatment.
