Ozzy is honored by MusiCares
Ozzy Osbourne was honored at this year's MusiCares MAP Fund ceremony, which took place last Monday in Los Angeles. At the event, the vocalist performed classics from his solo career and Black Sabbath, accompanied by Slash, Dave Navarro, Tommy Clufetos, Billy Morrison, and Rob “Blasko” Nicholson.
Ozzy was honored for his contributions to the charity, which helps members of the music community with rehabilitation and addiction treatment. At the ceremony, Metallica played acoustic covers of songs by The Beatles, Ozzy Osbourne, Deep Purple, and Rare Earth.
