Ozzy Osbourne and the original Black Sabbath are in full swing rehearsing for the grand Back To The Beginning Ozzy 's farewell to the stage , as he retired from touring in 2023 due to health issues.
Last Tuesday, the 24th, the vocalist shared a photo on his social media alongside drummer Bill Ward and bassist Geezer Butler , demonstrating his excitement for the historic reunion. It will be the first time in 20 years that the classic Sabbath lineup – Ozzy Osbourne (Vocals), Bill Ward (Drums), Geezer Butler (Bass) and Tony Iommi (Guitar) – will play together on stage.

Back To The Beginning promises to be an unforgettable celebration of rock and metal. In addition to Black Sabbath's performance, Ozzy Osbourne will play a solo set. The supporting lineup is a true melting pot of the scene, featuring names like Metallica , Guns N' Roses , Gojira , Mastodon , Anthrax, and many others.
A “supergroup” will also perform, consisting of Lzzy Hale ( Halestorm ), Fred Durst ( Limp Bizkit ), Papa V Perpetua ( Ghost ), and other guest artists. Tom Morello ( Rage Against The Machine ) will be the musical director of the event, while actor Jason Momoa ( Aquaman , Game Of Thrones) will be the host.
Tickets for the show sold out quickly after the announcement in February; however, the band confirmed a live stream of the event. Tickets for the streaming are now on sale .

The new photo from rehearsals isn't the first glimpse of preparations for the show. In April, Ozzy Osbourne revealed in an interview with the American radio station SiriusXM that he had begun "endurance training" to prepare for the stage .
“The first thing you lose when you’re lying down is your stamina,” he said. “So, believe it or not, I’m doing two sets of three-minute walks and weight training. I’m going and going, you know?” (Transcription via Loudersound ).
He added: “I’m waking up in my body, you know? I mean, three minutes for you, for example, is nothing, but I’ve been lying here recovering from countless surgeries.”
Van Halen vocalist Sammy Hagar , who will perform with the "supergroup" Back To The Beginning , revealed that Ozzy Osbourne is only scheduled to sing five songs at the show. "I chose to play 'No More Tears' (during my set that day) and Tom Morello said, 'Oh, that would be great,'" Hagar told Loudwire Nights .
“And then he came back and said, ‘Guess what? Ozzy is going to try to sing five songs and he wants to sing “No More Tears”.’” Despite Back To The Beginning Ozzy Osbourne ’s retirement from the stage, the singer already has confirmed public appearances . He and his family – his wife and manager Sharon , his daughter Kelly and his son Jack – will be guests at the Birmingham edition of Comic Con Midlands , which will take place from July 12th to 13th.
