The first edition of the acclaimed Ozzfest festival took place in 1996 with Ozzy Osbourne, Slayer, Sepultura, and many other big names in the lineup. The event started in the United States and over time traveled to other places such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark, and Japan.

Created and curated by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Ozzfest has brought and continues to bring countless incredible performances. Among them, one right from its debut.

In 1996, during his show, Ozzy sang the track "Perry Mason" accompanied by bassist Robert Trujillo (Suicidal Tendencies, Metallica), guitarist Joe Holmes, and drummer Mike Bordin. You can check out the performance below.

Ozzy recently announced that he will be going on a world tour to say goodbye to the stage. Although he revealed that this is not synonymous with his retirement, his tour is titled the Farewell World Tour and will include four shows in Brazil: São Paulo (May 13), Curitiba (May 16), Belo Horizonte (May 18) and Rio de Janeiro (May 20).
