Ozzy Osbourne commented on the reunion with Tony Iommi for the new solo album, Patient Number 9 , and said that he would have liked to have some of those songs on Black Sabbath , released in 2013.
According to the website Ultimate Guitar, Ozzy answered fan questions in a recent Q&A session. “It was great working with Tony, he’s the master of riffs. Nobody comes close to him in that sense,” he said. “I just wish we had those songs for Black Sabbath’s 13th album
Zakk Wylde 's participation on the new album, given that the guitarist didn't record Ordinary Man (2020). "He's part of my family and always will be. The album needed that weight from his playing style, he just came in and sorted things out," he explained.
Last month, Ozzy Osbourne released "Patient Number 9," the title track from his new album, in collaboration with Jeff Beck . The project also features guest appearances by Eric Clapton and Chad Smith once again be produced by Andrew Watts
