Ozzy Osbourne is expected to release a new album in September, says Sharon.

The project features Chad Smith, Tony Iommi, Zakk Wylde and more.

In an interview given to The Graham Norton Radio Show at the end of April, Sharon Osbourne spoke about the possibility of moving to the United Kingdom with her husband, Ozzy Osbourne , and revealed that the singer's new album will be released in September.

At the time, Sharon was in the UK filming her new reality show, The Talk , but had to return to Los Angeles shortly afterwards when Ozzy was diagnosed with COVID-19. When she gave the interview, however, the musician had not yet contracted the virus.

“He’s doing great. He’s doing very, very well. He’s finished another album and it’s going to be released in September. He’s busy in the studio. He still writes all the songs and sings, and that makes him very happy. He’ll never stop singing and writing. We built a big studio for him here [at the UK house] so he can work from home. And he can’t wait to get back, to be honest,” she said.

The last update the Osbourne family offered on Ozzy's health was in early May. Both his son, Jack , and Sharon herself confirmed that the singer was doing well , but that everyone else living in the house and all the other employees also had COVID-19, including herself.

Ozzy Osbourne's new album is the successor to Ordinary Man (2020) and will feature appearances by Zakk Wylde , Tony Iommi , Chad Smith and more.
