Ozzy Osbourne has announced the release of his new memoir, Last Rites . It will be published on October 7th by Grand Central Publishing . This will be Osbourne's second book, following his previously released memoir, I Am Ozzy, in 2009.

In a press release, Ozzy said [via Blabbermouth ]: “People ask me: if I could do it all over again, knowing what I know now, would you change anything? I say, like, no way. If I were clean and sober, I wouldn’t be Ozzy. If I had done normal, sensible things, I wouldn’t be Ozzy. Look, if it ends tomorrow, I can’t complain. I’ve traveled all over the world. I’ve seen a lot. I’ve done good and bad things. But, at the moment, I’m not ready to go anywhere.”

The book presents the touching and hilarious, never-before-told stories about Osbourne and his health struggles over the past seven years. Along the way, he reflects not only on his extraordinary life and career—including his turbulent marriage to wife Sharon, his encounters with Slash , Bon Scott , John Bonham , and Keith Moon —but also on the agonizing final moments he spent with Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead.

Furthermore, Ozzy reflects on the triumphant Back To The Beginning , Black Sabbath 's farewell concert , which took place last Saturday, July 5th, at Villa Park in Birmingham, UK. Approximately 40,000 people attended the event, with 5.8 million people watching the show online.
