After all, the stage was a necessity for him. The logic of his thinking was clear: 'Whether in two weeks or six months, I'm still going to die. Therefore, I want to go my way.' In this way, he fulfilled his last wish, leaving like a true rock star.”

The singer suffered from sepsis earlier that year. As a result, the family was already aware that the end was approaching. Even so, despite being warned by doctors that the Back To The Beginningin Birmingham could kill him, Ozzy did not back down.

“Certainly, when you’ve lived your life that way, it’s like, ‘Okay, six more months to get it the way I want it to turn out,’” the widow compared. The final moments and the legacy

On July 22, 2025, the 76-year-old vocalist suffered a sudden heart attack at his home in England. Soon after, Sharon recalled his sudden passing with emotion. “It was so fast. And thank God. While they were trying to resuscitate him, I knew. So I said, 'No. Don't do that. Leave him.' After all, he was already finished.”

Later, the death certificate confirmed that the artist also suffered from coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease. In contrast, the private funeral took place on the family property. Undeniably, the ceremony brought together big names in heavy metal music, such as Robert Trujillo, Rob Zombie, Zakk Wylde, Marilyn Manson and Corey Taylor.

Finally, along with the massive support from musicians and fans, the family received an unexpected gesture of affection from King Charles III, who sent a handwritten note. “Without a doubt, he is a good and caring man with a kind heart. In fact, he didn't need to do certain things he did for Ozzy in the past,” Sharon expressed her gratitude.
