Ozzy Osbourne is set to make a new solo album

Guitarist Gus G speaks in an interview

In an interview with the website Noiseful, Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Gus G. said that the vocalist is planning to make a new solo album in the near future: "I don't know when, or even if I'll be a part of the album, but he definitely will be."

Gus G revealed that Ozzy still has a contract with the record label to make three solo albums, but that the work was put on hold because of Black Sabbath's reunion: "With Black Sabbath back and all the success of the tour, I'm very happy that they reunited, so I'm looking forward to it ." The Black Sabbath tour has its last scheduled date on June 29th.

It was recently announced that Ozzy will be honored by the MusiCares MAP Fund, receiving the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award. The ceremony, which will take place on May 12th in Los Angeles, recognizes his support and commitment to helping recovering drug addicts.
