In an interview on the Piers Morgan Uncensored , Sharon Osbourne confirmed that Ozzy will be one of the festival's headliners alongside other big names (via Loudersound ). Recently, the singer announced a break from touring due to his health, but denied any rumors of a permanent retirement.
“He’s doing great,” Sharon says. “He’s much better. I think I told you about this a few days ago, but now it’s been announced; we can talk about it. He’s doing a show on October 6th in the United States. It’s at the same venue as Coachella. It’s going to be a huge show: Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, AC/DC, Ozzy…”
The news turned out to be an accidental scoop by Sharon, as the event hadn't been officially announced at the time of the interview.
