In a recent interview, Ozzy Osbourne reiterated that he has no intention of permanently retiring from performing.

The singer cancelled his tour dates in February and revealed that he was no longer “physically able” to tour Europe and the UK, but that his team was considering alternatives so that he could return to performing without having to travel long distances.

“Doing live shows is my reason for living,” Ozzy told Metal Hammer in an interview . “I had to cancel my European tour, but I’m determined. I’m going to do some shows even if I need someone to push my wheelchair there.”

“You can’t retire from this game. It’s not a job, it’s a passion. I don’t know how to do anything else. Just thinking about sitting at home all day… I’m a road dog, you know? I’ve been doing this for 55 years. It’s the best thing that ever happened to me,” he concludes.

After canceling his tour due to health problems, Ozzy Osbourne was the subject of many comments and headlines announcing his definitive retirement. Following the media attention, the artist gave an interview to remind the public that this is not the end of his stage performances. He is even confirmed to appear at the Power Trip , alongside AC/DC, in October.
