Ozzy Osbourne has cancelled his performance at the Power Trip festival, which will take place between October 6th and 8th at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, United States. The festival will feature performances by bands such as Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Metallica, Iron Maiden and Tool.
Last Monday, the 10th, Ozzy released a statement on his social media explaining that he doesn't feel ready to face the challenge at the moment. "As painful as it is, I've had to make the decision to withdraw from performing at Power Trip in October. My original plan was to return to the stage in the summer of 2024, and when the offer to do this show came, I accepted it optimistically."
“Unfortunately, my body is telling me I’m not quite ready yet, and I’m too proud for the first show I’ve done in almost five years to be so-so. The band that will replace me on Power Trip will be announced soon. They are personal friends of mine, and I can promise you won’t be disappointed. Above all, I want to thank my fans, my band, and my crew for their unwavering loyalty and continued support. I love you all, and we’ll see each other soon. God bless, Ozzy.”
