The day Ozzy Osbourne hugged the Brazilian flag at a concert in Argentina.

The gaffe was met with boos from the Argentinian audience and remains etched in the memory of Brazilian fans.

In 2013, Black Sabbath embarked on their first farewell tour – and a gaffe committed by Ozzy Osbourne in Argentina remained in the public's memory.

The band performed in the city of La Plata on October 6th, and during the song "Dirty Women," Ozzy caused outrage among the audience by appearing wrapped in a Brazilian flag.

A few days later, Black Sabbath landed in Brazil and answered press questions before the show. On that occasion, Ozzy Osbourne admitted that he had made "a world-renowned mistake" in Argentina, but was defended by Geezer Butler . "Someone threw a Peruvian flag," the bassist deflected. "I don't remember seeing a Brazilian flag."

Ozzy Osbourne's slip-up in Argentina provoked boos from the audience, but it wasn't enough to diminish the quality of Black Sabbath's show, which received praise from the local press . Two days later, the band set foot on Brazilian soil and within a week concluded their tour of Brazil with a historic show for 20,000 people in Belo Horizonte.

According to g1 , some flags were thrown onto the Mineirão stage and quickly removed by the production team, probably due to Ozzy's absence from the neighboring country.

Remember the moment when Ozzy annoyed the Argentinians:

Ozzy Osbourne has also made a gaffe with Max Cavalera.

Ozzy Osbourne's snub in Argentina was monumental, but the singer has also had a slip-up with a Brazilian: Max Cavalera .

In an interview with The Wikimetal Happy Hour , Max talked about his unusual friendship with Ozzy and told a story about when the Prince of Darkness seemed so lost that he didn't know what country he was in and confused the name of Cavalera's son.

The unusual scene took place in Norway. “I remember one time, Ozzy was in Europe and had absolutely no idea where he was. He was in the dressing room, looked at me and asked, 'Max, where are we?' He didn't know where he was, he didn't even know what country it was, I had to tell him,” the guitarist recounted. “And our son's name is Zyon , he said, 'How are you doing, Simon?'”
