Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi perform together after 5 years.

The duo performed “Paranoid” and “Iron Man” at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games.

After 5 years, Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi reunited on stage last Monday night, the 8th.

The duo, who hadn't performed together since Black Sabbath in 2017, delivered a performance of "Paranoid" and "Iron Man" at the closing ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Iommi performed at the event's opening ceremony a month ago, but Ozzy's participation on Monday night was kept secret until the last minute, which certainly increased the impact of his appearance.

Even more striking was the fact that this year's Commonwealth Games took place in Birmingham, England, where Ozzy and Tony grew up and eventually formed Black Sabbath.

Ozzy's health and "Degradation Rules"

Ozzy Osbourne's energy and enthusiasm are surprising because just a few months ago the singer underwent delicate surgery to remove and realign the pins he has in his back and neck. His first public appearance after the procedure took place about a month later at Comic-Con International.

In July, Ozzy and Tony Iommi released the song "Degradation Rules ," which will be on Osbourne's new album, Patient Number 9. The album is released on September 9th.
