Ozzy Osbourne admits he doesn't remember exactly how old he is

The Black Sabbath frontman lost a year and believes he is 70 years old

Ozzy Osbourne confessed during an interview with The Guardian that he can't remember how old he is.

“The worst thing about getting old is that my closest friends are dead,” he says, “But my problem is not remembering how old I am. I think I’m 70. And I don’t know what 70-year-olds do, so I’m doing things my way.” The Black Sabbath is actually 69 years old and will turn 70 in about six months on December 3rd.

Osbourne also spoke about the possibility of moving back to England, given that he has resided in Los Angeles since 1997. “I’d like to move back there. The weather here is great, but it’s very easy to fall into the traps of LA. All the newspapers say I’m sick.”

He also revealed that his passion for British food is a good reason to return to the country. "You can find fish and chips here but it's awful," he says, explaining that to get a good dish you need to go to an English pub.

In June, the musician will perform at the Download Festival in the United Kingdom alongside Guns N' Roses and Avenged Sevenfold.
