Overload features names from Metal and Post-Rock
This weekend, the first edition of the Overload Music Fest will take place in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, an event that will bring together Heavy Metal and Post Rock bands.
The festival will bring three unprecedented acts to Brazil: the Irish instrumental group God is an Astronaut, the acclaimed French duo Alcest, the Finnish band Swallow the Sun, and Fates Warning, an American icon of progressive heavy metal.
In Rio de Janeiro, there will be two separate shows: on September 4th, the Teatro Rival Petrobras will host God is an Astronaut and Alcest. The following day, Fates Warning and Swallow the Sun will take the stage. In São Paulo, the festival will take place at Via Marquês on a single day, September 6th (Saturday), and will feature the addition of the band Labirinto. See below for complete show details:
