The album does not yet have a name or release date
Overkill is preparing their new album, the successor to The Grinding Wheel (2017), and spoke about the creative and production process of their new works.
The news was announced on the band's social media, where it was also revealed that at least four demos are ready.
Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth, frontman of Overkill, told the Australian program 3D Radio that they seek to blend the old way of making music with the current, more modern way.
“We created a combination of the old way of locking ourselves in the studio, ordering pizza, drinking beer and sharing ideas until something came out, and the modern way of turning on computers and chatting there ,” reveals Ellsworth.
He goes on to say that Overkill will never abandon studio time because music should be made as a group.
The Grinding Wheel was released in February 2017 by Nuclear Blast and was produced by the band themselves.
