Overdose , premiering on April 10th at 8 PM.

Guitarist Cláudio David , founder of the band from Minas Gerais, posted an enigmatic teaser for the new single titled "Século XXI" on his YouTube channel.

This is the band's first new work since the album Scars (1995). The title alludes to their first work, the split Século XX / Bestial Devatation , released by Cogumelo Records in 1986.

Overdose, one of the oldest national metal bands.

Formed in Belo Horizonte in 1983, Overdose is one of the oldest Brazilian metal bands. In 1985, they caught the attention of the record label Cogumelo Records , but since the band didn't yet have enough material for a full album, they decided to record a split with another band, Sepultura . The album Século XX/Bestial Devastation is a landmark in the Brazilian metal scene, forever linking the histories of the two bands and making history.

Unlike Sepultura, Overdose achieved more national than international recognition. Throughout their career, the band released six albums, the most acclaimed being their last three: Circus Of Death (1992), Progress Of Decadence (1994), and Scars (1995).
