This will be the group's ninth studio album

The band Orange Goblin has announced that they will release a new album in June of this year. The successor to Back From The Abyss (2014) will feature a special guest appearance by former Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell.

The Wolf Bites Back will feature some solos by Campbell and was produced by Jaime Gomez Arellano. Marking the group's ninth album, it will be "the strongest and most diverse of their career and, certainly, the heaviest ," according to frontman Ben Ward.

He also revealed that the songs were carefully and attentively crafted to work perfectly not only on the album but also live.

The cover art and tracklist for The Wolf Bites Back will be revealed soon, as well as the release date. However, Ward has already revealed the names of some tracks: “Sons Of Salem”, “Ghosts Of The Primitives”, “Burn The Ships”, “Zeitgeist”, and “Suicide Division”.
