One Arm Away

The guitarist from one of the country's biggest bands is featured on Orgulho Nacional with a killer track:

Antonio Araújo from Korzus presents one of the songs from his solo work, where the guitarist not only plays the 6 strings but also sings his compositions.

'One Arm Away', just like Korzus, is a source of national pride.

Daniel Dystyler: Starting another edition of Orgulho Nacional, and I'll pass the word to Rafael Masini, who, as almost always, is the great organizer of the bands that play here at Orgulho Nacional.

Rafael Masini: Look, we were just talking about the Dream Theater episode, and besides the great joy of covering it and taking the photos, while waiting to go in, we ran into Antonio Araújo from Korzus, the great guitarist from Korzus, who replaced Silvio a long time ago. And he gave us a gift of National Pride: first, an EP of an album he says will be released by the end of the year, from his solo band. The band is called One Arm Away, it's sensational. It has three songs, I really liked it. I told him afterwards, "Antonio, I hope the album comes out soon." Look, Antonio Araújo plays guitar and sings, Felipe Andreoli is on bass, and the drum programming – that's right – they program the drums, it's Antonio Araújo himself, and Walman Filho. So, this style of music is really cool, I liked it, let's listen to the first one, the one that opens the album, a real banger: "Destiny," on Wikimetal.

DD: That was "Destiny," a song from the solo career of Antonio Araújo, the guitarist from Korzus, very cool.
