The last Omnium Gatherum release was in 2016
The Finnish band Omnium Gatherum is in the studio preparing their seventh album, which is expected to be released later this year.
The band will be touring North America between September and October, along with Finnish band Amorphis, Swedish band Dark Tranquillity, and Portuguese band Moonspell.
Markus Vanhala, guitarist, commented:
"Greetings from the studio. We're busy here preparing the new Omnium Gatherum album during this crazy Finnish winter, and the stars are aligned and feelings and hopes are high here, even if the temperature outside definitely isn't. Everything is going well with the production of the successor to Greys Heavens.".
Before we announce anything about the new album, such as title or release date, we can only suspect that the tour cycle for this album will begin in North America! We couldn't tour with better company than that. We'll be together on this journey with our good friends from 3 bands.”
