Oli Herbert, guitarist for All That Remains, dies at age 44.

The musician founded the band in 1998 alongside frontman Phil Labonte

guitarist and founder Oli Herbert has passed away at the age of 44. The news was confirmed by the band on their social media.

Herbert founded the group in 1998 and is the only original member alongside frontman Phil Labonte . The cause of death has not yet been revealed. In a statement, the band wrote: “We are devastated by the death of Oli Herbert, our friend, guitarist, and founding member.”

Oli was an incredible guitarist and songwriter who defined rock and metal in the Northeast [of the United States]. His impact on the genre will live on forever.”

All That Remains was preparing to release a new studio album, Victim of the New Disease , on November 9th.
