The band released their last album in January 2018

Of Mice & Men wasted no time. Just a few months after the release of their fifth studio album, Defy , the American group returned to the studio to prepare its successor.

Aaron Pauley , vocalist and guitarist of the band, revealed that he and his colleagues are working with Josh Wilbur , known for producing albums for bands such as Lamb of God, Trivium , and Gojira .

“We’re really excited to be in the studio with Josh, we’re huge fans of his work,” said Pauley, “When we decided to make a heavier record, Josh was the first name that came up – and I’ll say we’re halfway through the process and it’s heavy, celestial and demonic.”

Defy was released in January of this year and was the first album without vocalist Austin Carlile , who had to leave the group after being diagnosed with Marfan syndrome, which prevented him from singing. Today, the musician is doing well and has revealed that he should return to the music world soon.
