Following the release of the Timeless in February , Mice & Men announced that they will be releasing another EP. Titled Bloom , the work continues the series of releases that will make up their next studio album.

Bloom will be released on May 28th by SharpTone Records, and the title track has been released. Speaking about the new release, vocalist and bassist Aaron Pauley said: "'Bloom' is a song about grieving the death of a family member."

"It's about understanding that through loss, grief is not just a form of love, but the most visceral and wild form of love; it's the price we pay for experiencing so much love. To know deep grief is to know that you felt a deep love. Nothing and no one is forever. Love isn't a bouquet of plastic flowers; it's watching the petals fall."
