Heavy guitars and furious drums: Of Mice & Men releases powerful new EP 'Bloom'

The three songs are part of a series of releases that will be included on the band's new studio album

Of Mice & Men new EP Bloom , was released this Friday, the 28th. The project follows their first EP, Timeless , and continues the series of releases that will make up the band's next studio album.

Bloom is an explosive compilation of the songs “Levee”, “Pulling Teeth” and the title track, which was previously released at the end of April. At the time of its release, vocalist and bassist Aaron Pauley said that the song would be about grieving the death of a family member.

“It’s about understanding that through loss, grief is not just a form of love, it’s the most visceral and wild form of love; it’s the price we pay for experiencing so much love,” said Aaron. “To know deep grief is to know that you felt deep love. Nothing and no one is forever. Love isn’t a bouquet of plastic flowers; it’s watching the petals fall.”
