The band is working on a new studio album with producer Josh Wilbur
The band Of Mice & Men released the music video for their new single “How to Survive”. The track was released last month when they revealed they had returned to the studio with producer Josh Wilbur to work on the follow-up to Defy (2018).
Now, they've teamed up with director Zev Deans to create an apocalyptic video for the single. In it, the group appears playing live while various people receive packages containing instruments to survive the madness the world has become.
Upon releasing the single, vocalist and bassist Aaron Pauley spoke about the concept behind it, explaining that "How to Survive" is "an anthem for those who have suffered hate and abuse." He further stated that the track was written with children in mind who are bullied and/or ignored at school.
This is for the teenager who was told they were worthless, that their thoughts and feelings didn't matter to the world. It's for the person who heard they are useless, that they aren't good enough. For those who have been targeted by people whose goal is to tear people apart
