Odin's Krieger Fest , a traditional festival that blends medieval culture and heavy metal, is coming in full force in 2024. Scheduled for July of this year, the festival features two rising international heavy metal bands: the Italian power metal band Wind Rose and the enigmatic hard/heavy band Dogma . This will be the first tour in Brazil for both bands.
The festival will bring both bands to perform in the following capital cities: July 19th in Curitiba (PR), at Jokers; July 20th in Belo Horizonte (MG), at Mister Rock; and July 21st in São Paulo (SP), at Carioca Clube, plus a new date in Limeira (SP) on July 18th.
Wind Rose
Wind Rose was formed in 2009 in the city of Pisa, Tuscany (Italy). The band has five studio albums, the most recent being Warfront , released in June 2022, and has toured alongside Wintersun , Finntroll , and Epica .
Wind Rose primarily plays a combination of power metal and folk metal accompanied by orchestration and vocal harmonies.
It also features lyrical themes inspired by the works of J.R.R. Tolkien , especially about the Dwarves of Middle-earth, from which the band also draws its aesthetic. Because of this, the band's sound has been referred to as dwarf metal.
Dogma
Dogma, on the other hand, is a new name in the world of heavy metal and is currently promoting its impressive self-titled debut album, featuring 11 explosive tracks.
The band consists of four women whose identities are unknown, who perform dressed as nuns.
The metal nuns Lilith , Lamia , Nixe , and Abrahel draw influences from Kiss , In This Moment , and Burning Witches , always delivering devastating riffs and powerful melodies. They promise theatrical and captivating shows on their first visit to Brazil.
Dogma invites you to embrace rebellion and unleash your carnal desires – as evidenced by the music videos for “Carnal Liberation”, “Forbidden Zone”, “My First Peak” and “Made Her Mine”.
They cast aside the constraints of modesty, evoking a storm of sensuality that demands unwavering attention and passionate participation.
