The Hu , known for their blend of rock with Mongolian ethnic elements and headlining all three dates of the special edition of Odin's Krieger , had their shows rescheduled for December of this year due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Tickets purchased for the events that were scheduled for April will be valid for the new dates. The Hu's first show is on December 2nd in Rio de Janeiro, at Espaço Kubrick, with Triddana and Tailten as opening acts. Curitiba will host the Mongolian quartet on the 5th, at CWB Hall, alongside Terra Celta and Triddana. A day later, on the 6th, it's São Paulo's turn, at Carioca Club, also with Triddana, Taberna Folk and Oaklore .
The band The Hu was formed in 2016 in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. Musicians Gala , Jaya , Temka , and Enkush joined forces with producer Dashka to combine traditional Mongolian instrumentation, distorted guitars, and aggressive rhythms with folkloric sounds from the East.
See below for information about the band's shows in Brazil. The Hu was also scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza, but due to the coronavirus, the festival was postponed, also to December.
