Oasis returns to Brazil in November with one of the most anticipated shows of the year.

The Oasis Live'25 marks the reunion of brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher on stage after a sixteen-year hiatus. There will be two shows at Estádio MorumBIS in São Paulo, on November 22nd and 23rd – with tickets already sold out for both performances. Relive all the shows the band has performed in the country.

1998 – Oasis' debut in Brazil

Promoting Be Here Now , released in August 1997, the band made its South American debut in March 1998. The tour included two shows: the first in Rio de Janeiro, at the Metropolitan (now Qualistage), on March 20, and the second in São Paulo, at Arena Anhembi, the following day.

The complete stage design for the tour, which included elements featured in the album artwork, such as an English telephone booth, the body of a Rolls Royce, and the Big Ben clock, was limited to the shows performed in England.

The setlist included tracks from the album, such as “Stand By Me” and “D'You Know What I Mean?”. The obligatory hits “Wonderwall” , “Live Forever” and “Champagne Supernova” were also present. The show closed with the traditional cover of “I Am the Walrus” by The Beatles .

2001 – Show at Rock in Rio

After the release of Standing on the Shoulder of Giants (2000), Oasis returned to Brazil in January 2001 for a single performance at Rock in Rio III on January 14th, which took place before that day's headliner, Guns N' Roses . It is frequently considered one of the best performances in the festival's history in lists and polls.

The show was marked by Liam Gallagher Axl Rose 's band at the press conference, declaring that the world would be better "with cleaner air and no guns and roses."

The performance included tracks like “Go Let It Out” and “Who Feels Love?”, in addition to the band's traditional hits, which got the crowd going. The cover of “Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black)”, by Neil Young & Crazy Horse , marked the end of the show.

2006 – One-off performance in São Paulo

On March 15, 2006, the band's third visit to Brazil featured a single show in São Paulo. The show was part of the Don't Believe the Truth Tour . The performance took place in the parking lot of Credicard Hall (now Vibra São Paulo) and was marked by an extreme weather event: heavy rain that battered the audience on the floor throughout the show.

It was the only time drummer Zak Starkey played with Oasis in Brazil. The setlist included tracks from the self-titled album released the previous year, such as "Lyla," "The Importance of Being Idle," and "The Meaning of Soul." The setlist also featured hits from the 1990s and a cover of "My Generation" by The Who .

2009 – The band's most extensive tour in Brazil.

With Dig Out Your Soul (2008), Oasis performed their last South American tour in May 2009 before their breakup in August. Their fourth visit to Brazil included four cities: Rio de Janeiro, on May 7th at Citibank Hall; São Paulo, on May 9th at Arena Anhembi; Curitiba, on May 10th at Expotrade Convention Center; and Porto Alegre, on May 12th at Gigantinho.

At the time, on his blog, Noel Gallagher questioned the logistics of the shows, expressing that he saw no point in playing in cities outside the Rio-São Paulo axis, such as Curitiba and Porto Alegre. His criticism was directed at the stage infrastructure in these cities. The guitarist claimed that setting up in parking lots or smaller venues detracted from the experience.

“I don’t understand what we’re trying to prove when we play in a place like Curitiba or like this one in Porto Alegre. Why not just do two awesome shows in Rio and São Paulo? It’s the fans who lose out, in my opinion. Setting up a stage in a parking lot doesn’t compare to the noise and colors of a stadium. Even so, the shows were great. They could have been better, though,” he declared.

The main highlights were the singles “The Shock of the Lightning”, “I'm Outta Time”, and the hypnotic “Falling Down”. The group didn't skimp on the classics, delivering hits like “Cigarettes And Alcohol”, “Morning Glory”, “Slide Away”, and “Supersonic”. The tradition was maintained with a final cover of The Beatles' “I Am the Walrus” as the closing act.
