Oasis releases new version of the track “Up In The Sky”

The release is part of the edition celebrating the 30th anniversary of the album Definitely Maybe.

Last Monday, the 15th, Oasis shared an unreleased version of "Up In The Sky," featured on the duo's first album. Definitely Maybe turns 30 in August and will receive a special anniversary edition, arriving on August 30th.

Available in various formats, the remastered album will contain tracks from the original recording session at Monnow Valley Studios, which the brothers ultimately abandoned. The recently released version of "Up In The Sky" is one of those recordings.

The track was recently remixed by Noel Gallagher for the special edition release and is a bit softer than the version that ended up on the debut album.

In addition to alternative versions of this session discarded by the band 30 years ago, the anniversary edition of Definitely Maybe will also include remastered versions of the album's final recordings, made at Sawmills Studios in Cornwall.
