Novacrow makes a statement against sexual violence in "Medusa Medusa"; listen

The band released their debut album 'Look At Me Now' last Friday, the 30th

The Greek myth of Medusa gains weight and transforms into a manifesto against sexism in the hands of the British band Novacrow Wikimetal 's discoveries on Groover .

Generally described as a monster due to her horrifying appearance and power to turn anyone who looked at her to stone, the story of Medusa is actually marked by male violence, having been unjustly punished after being raped by the Greek god Poseidon.

In the song "Medusa Medusa," Novacrow bets on a bold sound and a cabaret rock n' roll vibe to deliver a message for all women, without neglecting the heaviness of the band formed by Kitty (vocals and guitar), Freddy (bass and backing vocals), and Jonyx (drums).

"Feared and hated, infamous and legendary / I exist as a product of their cowardice / Because I never asked to be this way," says a line from the track, which marks the third single from the band's debut album, Look At Me Now , released last Friday, the 30th.
