The Norwegian band Taskaha released their self-titled debut studio album in August, mastered by the legendary Jens Bogren , who has previously worked with Opeth, Haken, Symphony X, Enslaved, and Sepultura.
The band members have been playing together independently and in side projects since the 1990s, but in 2014 they decided to form the current band and began working on their debut album in 2016.
Their sound is based on pushing boundaries in musical arrangements, mixing different time signatures and styles. It's a grand sonic experiment where musicians can play with melodies.
Their debut album Taskaha , released on August 28th, showcases their musicality and displays a vast soundscape covering a range of musical expressions from hard metal to soft and atmospheric sounds.
